Logo and branding are crucial components of any business or organization. A logo is a visual representation of a company’s identity, while branding is the overall image and messaging that a company presents to the public. A well-designed logo and consistent branding help to establish trust and recognition with customers, making it easier for them to remember and identify a company. They also help to differentiate a business from its competitors, communicate its values and mission, and create a sense of familiarity and loyalty with its target audience. Effective branding and a strong logo can ultimately lead to increased brand awareness, customer loyalty, and business success.

Cockatoo Course is a Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and English language course that mainly focuses on its business digitally. They want to put their logo on the website, as a social media display picture/icon, and as printable things. That’s why the logo was altered to be more minimal, straight to the point, and eye-catching. The logo mainly consists of a logotype “cockatoo”, so people will easily recognize the brand. The negative space of the cockatoo bird is used in the first “o” letter that is used as the icon as well. This logo only uses 2 colors (red/white) so the logo application can be more flexible with a variety of usage.
